360 Liposuction
360 liposuction contours the abdomen, waist, flanks and back as a whole, creating a more balanced shape around the midsection.

360 liposuction in Turkey
360 liposuction, often called Lipo 360, is a body-contouring procedure that uses liposuction around multiple areas of the midsection rather than treating one isolated area.
Depending on your anatomy, this may include the abdomen, waist, flanks and areas of the back.
The aim is not simply to remove as much fat as possible. Treating the body circumferentially allows the surgeon to consider how the front, sides and back work together to create the overall silhouette.
At EsteTurkey Group in Istanbul, the areas treated and amount of liposuction are determined individually according to your fat distribution, skin quality, body proportions and desired result.
What areas does 360 liposuction treat?
The exact areas vary between patients, but Lipo 360 commonly involves contouring around the:
- Upper and lower abdomen
- Waist
- Flanks or “love handles”
- Lower back
- Selected areas of the upper back when appropriate
360 does not mean that every patient receives exactly the same number of treated areas or the same amount of fat removal.
The surgical plan should follow your individual fat distribution and body shape.
What can 360 liposuction improve?
360 liposuction may be appropriate for patients who want to improve:
- Localised fat around the abdomen
- Fullness around the waist
- Flank or love-handle fat
- Selected areas of back fat
- Definition between the waist and hips
- Overall contour of the midsection
The result depends strongly on your starting anatomy and skin quality.
Liposuction changes fat distribution. It does not provide the same skin removal or tightening as a tummy tuck.
Who is a good candidate for 360 liposuction?
360 liposuction is generally best suited to patients who have localised fat around the torso but still have sufficient skin quality to adapt to the new contour.
It is not intended as a weight-loss procedure.
Your weight and BMI, fat distribution, skin elasticity, medical history and expectations all need to be considered before surgery.
Patients with significant loose or hanging abdominal skin may require a different treatment plan because removing fat alone does not remove that excess skin.
Does 360 liposuction tighten loose skin?
This is an important distinction.
Liposuction removes fat beneath the skin, but it does not remove significant excess skin.
How well the skin adapts after fat removal depends partly on its existing elasticity.
A patient with good skin quality may see the skin adapt relatively well to the new contour. Someone with significant laxity, however, may still have loose skin after liposuction.
In some patients, removing the underlying fat without addressing poor skin quality can make existing laxity more apparent.
This is why skin quality needs to be assessed before recommending liposuction alone.
360 liposuction vs tummy tuck
These procedures solve different problems.
360 liposuction primarily addresses fat around the abdomen, waist, flanks and back.
Tummy tuck primarily addresses excess abdominal skin and loose abdominal tissues and can include muscle repair when required.
If you have localised fat but good skin quality, liposuction alone may be appropriate.
If you have significant loose abdominal skin, particularly after pregnancy or major weight loss, a tummy tuck may be required instead of—or together with—liposuction.
Can 360 liposuction and tummy tuck be combined?
Yes, in suitable patients.
This combination can be useful when there are two separate concerns: excess abdominal skin and unwanted fat around the surrounding torso.
The tummy tuck removes and reshapes loose abdominal skin, while liposuction can be used to contour selected areas around the waist, flanks and back.
The amount and location of liposuction need to be planned carefully as part of the overall operation.
Not every tummy tuck patient automatically needs 360 liposuction.
Is 360 liposuction the same as a BBL?
No.
360 liposuction removes and contours fat around the torso.
A Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) involves fat transfer: fat is collected through liposuction, processed and then transferred to selected areas of the buttocks.
Liposuction may therefore form part of a BBL procedure, but Lipo 360 itself does not include fat transfer unless this is specifically part of the surgical plan.
How is 360 liposuction performed?
360 liposuction is usually performed under general anaesthesia when multiple areas of the torso are being treated.
Small incisions are made in selected locations so that a cannula can be used to remove fat from the planned areas.
The surgeon works across the different regions of the torso to improve contour and transition between the abdomen, waist, flanks and back.
The amount of fat removed is determined by the patient's anatomy and surgical safety rather than by trying to reach a particular number of litres.
Will I lose weight after 360 liposuction?
You may weigh less after fat has been removed, but weight loss is not the purpose of liposuction.
Changes in body shape and measurements are generally more relevant than the number on the scale.
Liposuction should not be considered an alternative to weight loss.
Patients who plan to lose a significant amount of weight are generally better assessed after reaching a more stable weight, as further weight changes can affect the result.
360 liposuction recovery: what should you expect?
Swelling, bruising, tenderness and temporary changes in sensation are common during early recovery.
Because several areas around the torso may be treated, swelling can be noticeable and may fluctuate during the healing process.
A compression garment is typically worn after surgery to support the treated areas during recovery.
Walking is encouraged according to your medical team's instructions, while strenuous exercise and heavy activity remain restricted during the early healing period.
The body continues to settle over the following weeks and months, so the early postoperative shape should not be considered the final result.
Your 360 liposuction journey in Istanbul
Your treatment begins with an in-person consultation and pre-operative tests after you arrive in Istanbul.
The surgeon assesses your abdomen, waist, flanks, back, skin quality and overall proportions before confirming which areas should be treated.
After surgery, your early recovery is monitored before you continue recovering at your hotel.
Your postoperative care includes scheduled follow-ups and daily nurse visits during hotel recovery, according to your treatment plan.
Our team also coordinates your accommodation, transfers, medications and required compression garment.
Your recommended stay in Istanbul will be confirmed according to the extent of liposuction and whether other procedures are being performed at the same time.
360 liposuction before and after
Before-and-after photographs should be evaluated from more than one angle.
Because Lipo 360 treats the torso as a whole, front photographs alone do not show the full result.
Look at the waist, flanks and back as well as the abdomen, and compare patients with a similar starting body shape and skin quality.
Also consider when the postoperative photograph was taken, as swelling can significantly affect early results.
How much does 360 liposuction cost in Turkey?
The cost of 360 liposuction depends on the number and extent of areas being treated, the complexity of the procedure and whether it is combined with another operation.
A patient requiring limited circumferential contouring may have a different surgical plan from someone undergoing extensive liposuction together with tummy tuck or another body procedure.
At EsteTurkey Group, your photographs and medical information are reviewed before an individual surgical plan and quotation are provided.
