Dental treatment in Istanbul is delivered with our partner dental clinic and ranges from veneers and crowns for smile design to implants replacing missing teeth — planned around what you want your smile to look and feel like, not a fixed package.

What treatment involves

Veneers are thin shells bonded to the front of existing teeth to change shape, colour or alignment with minimal tooth reduction. Crowns cover a full tooth that is damaged or heavily filled. Implants replace a missing tooth root with a titanium post that a permanent crown is later attached to, once it has fully integrated with the jawbone. Most work is done under local anaesthesia across a small number of visits during your stay.

Recovery

Veneers and crowns involve little to no downtime beyond mild sensitivity for a few days. Implants need more patience: the post needs three to six months to integrate with the bone before the final crown is placed, so a same-trip implant plan typically includes a temporary tooth while that healing completes.

Who this suits

Veneers and crowns suit anyone unhappy with the shape, colour or wear of their existing teeth. Implants suit patients missing one or more teeth who have adequate bone density to support a post, which your dentist confirms with imaging before treatment is planned.

How many visits does treatment take?

It depends on the plan. Veneers and crowns are typically completed within your travel window across two to three visits to the clinic. Implants involve a first visit to place the post, then a second trip months later once it has integrated, to fit the final crown — your coordinator plans both visits around you.

What is the difference between veneers and crowns?

A veneer covers only the front surface of a tooth and preserves more of the natural tooth; a crown covers the entire tooth and suits teeth that are more heavily damaged or filled. Your dentist recommends one over the other based on the condition of the tooth itself, not preference alone.

How long do dental implants take to fully heal?

The titanium post typically needs three to six months to integrate with the jawbone before it can safely support a permanent crown. A temporary tooth is fitted in the meantime so you are not without a visible tooth during that period.
