Before and after photos
Before
AfterPhotographs are unretouched and shared with the patient's written consent. Results vary between individuals; only a consultation can tell you what is realistic for your own anatomy.
Before surgery
This patient, in her mid-thirties, wanted more upper-pole fullness and a lifted position after volume loss following pregnancy and breastfeeding. Her photographs show reduced volume and nipples sitting below the breast fold, which is why a lift alone would not have given the shape she described.
Plan and technique
The surgeon recommended combining a breast lift with implants. Round, moderate-profile implants were placed under the muscle, and a lift through an anchor-shaped incision repositioned the nipple and removed excess skin. Implant size was chosen to suit her frame and her wish for a natural look in clothing. Surgery took about three hours under general anaesthesia, with one night in hospital.
Recovery
A supportive surgical bra is worn day and night for the first weeks. Most patients return to desk work in seven to ten days and are cleared for full exercise at around six weeks. The after photograph here was taken in the operating room at the end of surgery, with dressings and skin tapes still in place, so swelling and implant settling are not yet reflected; the final shape develops over the following months.
Planning your own result
Implant size, shape and position are chosen around your frame and lifestyle, not a fixed formula. Scars fade over many months but remain. See our breast aesthetics guide or browse more breast surgery results to see the range of outcomes.
