Before

Before surgery
This patient, a mother of two in her late thirties, came to us about three years after her last pregnancy. She wanted to restore her abdomen and breast shape. Her photographs show loose abdominal skin, separation of the abdominal muscles and a loss of breast volume that exercise and diet had not changed.
One plan, one recovery
Combining procedures means one anaesthetic and one recovery period instead of several trips abroad. The surgeon performed a tummy tuck with muscle repair, a breast lift with implants and light liposuction of the flanks. Surgery took around five hours, followed by two nights in hospital. Combined surgery is only suitable when the patient is healthy and the surgeon judges it safe.
Recovery
The patient stayed nine nights in Istanbul and walked gently from the first day to support circulation. A compression garment was worn for several weeks, and she returned to desk work after about three weeks. The after photograph here was taken in the operating room at the end of surgery, with dressings and tapes still in place, so swelling is not yet reflected and the final contour develops over the following months.
